Assuming we all agree that Michael Jordan is one of the greatest stars to ever play in the NBA, if not the greatest. Will there ever be another player to attribute everything Jordan did? Kobe's great, but his off court antics leave something to be desired. Lebron is awesome at such a young age, but the Championship Series choke left some wondering. And there are many other great players (KG, Melo, Iverson, ect.), but does anyone have what it takes to top Mike?

MJ is definately a great player that the NBA has ever seen. He had a tremendous supporting cast to help him. Take a look at Duncan, he keeps winning, LeBron hopefully will put Cleveland on the map with an NBA championship. Kobe, yea hes Kobe, time will tell

As for LeBron ,only time will tell. His performance in the Eastern Conferenec Championship last year was incredible, but when the Finals started, he couldn't have choked more. Michael is one of a kind and ,in my opinion, Kobe is almost on his level. What Kobe is doing with such a sad supprting cast is incredible. Michael didn't do anything in Washington without Pippen or Rodman. Kobe has gotten the Lakers to the postseason on his own back. If he could get another star to play with (i.e, Kidd) he has a chance to pass Michael as the greatest ever.

no. there will never be another jordan, magic, bird, shaq, or anyone other great player that has played before or since. players need to make there own idenity when they play instead of playing or even being compared to former or current players and trying to live up to other peoples comparisons.

adam morrison was suppose to be the next larry bird. I wonder how many people who said this still believe this? He is a bust.

By saying Michael jordan...do you also mean an overhyped product of the media???...becuase "REAL" basketball fans know that thier were greater player before MJ and there will be greater players after.....Jordan was just a tool for ESPN and Nike to make $$$$...if only ESPN was around for Bill Russell, Oscar, Wilt,.......Even Magic and Bird (ESPN just started out as Bird and Magic made the NBA what it is Today)...Jordan never won anything in the 80's(the best era ever)...he could only win in the watered down 90's.....without Pippen he never had a winning season.....Hope I answered your ? : )...2EZ!

There will eventually be a player who will be as good as and probably exceed the triumphs, accolades and skills of Michael Jordan. This happens in every sport. Whatever the achievements, there will be some one who will exceed the new standard,
