Yes I heard about it yesterday. I would NOT say good riddance. If you heard any of his solo material it is quite good. Even though the guy was quite an a$%hole, he was still a great musician and songwriter. Oh and by the way, I don't think that Tina Turner would have existed without Ike.

Interesting I must agree with you about what he did to Tina
He lived in my area when he was with Tina
His contribution Or I should say Tina'a was significant to R&B and rock , So I guess with the early yrs in St Louis we have may never known of Tina Turner

Yeah, I never really cared for him or what he did to Tina, but I guess I feel I shouldn't speak ill of the dead...so I I'll just say maybe both will be in peace now...and leave it at that!!!

It is sad he died but he was always jealous of Tina who was more talented than he was and he should have never hit her .
