Just delete the icon on your desktop. (Open & Delete).

if you hover over them with your mouse and then RIGHT click. it will give you a DELETE option. CLICK on delete, then you can go to the recycle bin and wipe them out of there too.
Wiping them from the desktop DOESNT wipe them from your computer altogether though.
You have to go through START - CONTROL PANAL - ADD/REMOVE - find the programme in there and then REMOVE.
I think you have to be the computers ''administrator'' to do the add/remove bit though.

Drag and drop them on the trash can or right click on them and select delete.
