Yes, because many youngsters will find out today that their heroes are possibly cheaters of the game. The real problem is that this report is far from being a valid report. "He said, she said", is basically the foundation of this report.

Mitchell may very well be destroying the lives and careers of innocent players. To throw these names out publicly without solid proof is nothing short of a crime.

Where do we go from here?

In a sport that saw 8 players forever banned for throwing the World Series, a sport that had a season wiped out due to labour conflicts, and a sport that has seen players go from playing smart to playing big, I do believe this day is a pivotal one in Major League Baseball. The saddest day? Time will be the ultimate judge of that.

No. The saddest day was when the league and the player's association turned the other way when they knew all this stuff was going on in the 90's. The fact that they let Roger Maris's single season and Hank Aaron's all time home run records be tarnished the way the were is inconceivable. MLB should apologize to it's fans and Bud Selig should be removed as commissioner.

I don't think so. It's definitely not a good day, but I'm willing to be that most players have used some form of steroids in their days. The list will probably consist of only good players. You probably won't see career .240 hitters on the list because nobody would care. Everyone was doing it. I really don't care.

Possibly. But really I don't think anything is going to come of this. The list will be so extensive to the extent that it will too convoluted. Fans are going to the game regardless. Owners will sign players regardless. It might actually be good because baseball can start putting it behind them.

I think fans probably care about strikes than who used steroids...I'm not a big fan of baseball, but I do follow the Red Sox...
