Bipolar disorder is relatively simple to control with meds, although finding the right med (or med combo) can initially be a bit tricky. The vast majority lead their lives quite happily, hold down jobs, have solid relationships with family and friends, etc.

Folks with BPD, however, are RARELY "cured". Although treatable, most folks with BPD continue to display at least some symptoms throughout their lifetimes (with or without meds and/or therapy).

It all depends on the severity of the illness. BPD is more difficult to treat. Bipolar Disorder is more responsive to medications. BPD usually requires some extensive psychotherapy although medications can help with some symptoms such as depression. Bipolar Disorder tends to be more episodic whereas Borderline usually has chronic symptoms.

It depends completely on the severity of the disorder. Bipolar 1 is worse than Bipolar 2, which is worse than the sub-threshold Bipolar NOS (not otherwise specified). Severe Bipolar 1 with psychotic features is worse than anything, just about. But Borderline can be really severe too.

Bipolar is a mental disorder, and Borderline is a personality disorder.

Neither is curable. Both can be treated with psychotherapy and medication. BPD is a personality disorder, and Bipolar disorder is a mental illness. It really depends on the severity.

Could be a symptom of having a terrible day lol. Sounds like me the other day when I was driving through town and missing my turn 3 times in a row (it was dark out..).

Bi Polar I you are manic or depressed. Bi Polar II you are depressed and not manic but have great mood swings.

Borderline is a constant roller coaster and harder to deal with in therapy and with medications.
