yes they do. However, animals have been eating other animals for quite some time now. I have no desire to change that fact. If you think about it this way we are way nicer to our beef then a cheetah is to a gazelle.
Its great that you have your own beliefs but don't try and rub it in my face to make me feel bad. I'm sorry if I'm genetically ment to be an omnivore and I have to eat meat. Whatever, suppliments will probably be linked to cancer at some point anyway... you choose not to eat meat - I choose to (calm down)

Yes, animals can feel pain. Animals can also suffer. If people had to slaughter and gut their own food, there would be many more vegetarians. Right now, we have slaughter houses do all the dirty work, and by the time the meat makes it to the store, we barely make the connection that this meat used to be a live animal that suffered and died for us to be fed. It's a sort of ignorance is bliss or a out of sight out of mind thing. I don't agree with it.
Although, soon, the world will have to all be vegetarian if we are going to keep supplying the world with food while our population keeps increasing at an accelerated rate. We can feed ten times the amount of people, using farm land for crops, than we can using that same land for livestock. We are almost at the maximum occupancy this planet can handle with our population boom and the limited amount of space we have for farms and livestock. The maximum occupancy of the planet is around 13 billion; this will be reached in the next fifty years at the current rate of overpopulation. So, we will have to give up our meat lust soon if we are going to keep the world fed. Unfortunately, most meat eaters would rather see the world starve than for them to give up their meat lust.

Yup, animals can certainly feel pain. And they often taste darned good, too, if properly prepared. As for the millions who live vibrant, healthy lives on a vegetarian diet, more power to them. I'm one of the millions who lead vibrant, healthy lives on an omnivorous diet, though.

Yes they feel pain but they taste so darn good. I've done a bit of work at a small slaughterhouse before and would do so again if it was the only way I got to eat meat. I would much rather get my protein from a steak instead of beans or nuts. But you go ahead and recruit as many vegetarians as you can...maybe the reduced demand for meat will mean cheaper prices on steaks for me...YAY!!!!

religion coming from an invasive culture that exploits Nature and animals, has tried to spread the myth that animals do not have emotions or feel pain ,
in fact they are not much different from us ,they cannot build computers ,but they can communicate ,have highly developed senses ,feel pain and can be happy or sad
