I'm sure we ALL have a life outside P&S (this only takes up a few minutes here and there after all) but when someone has been a regular sight around these parts and then doesn't make an appearance for a while it's natural to be concerned - especially if they're from your contacts.

Hey, Hi! I know what you mean....
It depends on how well I know them, and how familiar I am with their "pattern"... Some I worry about if I don't hear from them all day. Some I get concerned about if there's been not hide nor hair for a week- Qs or As or ANYthing...
I pretty-much HOPE theyre having a life! If we're close, I email and ASK, dammit!

I do if I don't see them for a week or so. Most I know NEED to check in at least THAT often! If I don't see them, I will just ask a mutual contact what's up! I'm getting ready to go on a loooong vacay! Yay! (But I'll have the internet!)

A l-l-li-ife?? OMG that's my worst nightmare! Don't even speak of such things, they might come true!!
I do worry, I just choose to believe they're either in the can or asleep, you know, sweetly abiding in one of those other surreal alternate conciousnesses. But a real, l-l-li- I CAN"T SAY IT!! Not THAT!!!

No, I don't worry. Most of my contacts are just people who answer my questions. They are not my real friends.
