I was originally going to play Indy D, but then I saw how terrible KC's offense has been and picked up Tenn D. Should I play Tenn D?

Kansas City's offense is erratic. Good one week, bad for two weeks, etc. And, even though the Titans D tore it up against the Chargers O-line for 3 quarters, that was their best defensive performance in over a month. A lot of players got hurt that day on both teams. And, despite the return of Albert Haynesworth, I wouldn't expect the Titans to play as inspired as they did last week. They had the Chargers on the ropes and let a very important game get away from them. Now they're on the road at Arrowhead Stadium.

Indy is going up against another erratic offense that can be almost good one week and just plain horrible for a few weeks. The Raiders might think they have something to prove after beating KC at home 3 weeks ago and thumping Denver 34 to 20 2 weeks ago. Then again, Green Bay made them look pathetic last week (34 to 7). Also consider that Indy has put up double-digit defense points for 6 of the last 8 weeks (according to ESPN's fantasy scoring system) and 18 on Baltimore last week. They'll probably cut through Oakland like a hot knife through butter.

San Diego, barring a catastrophe, will beat Detroit. The San Diego D, led by Antonio Cromartie, has been an interception machine. However ... sack-master Shawne Merriman and big nose tackle Jamal Williams are out this weekend. A lot of ofther players are also nicked up from that bloodbath in Tennessee last weekend. So, I'm not sure how tenacious a Chargers defense we'll see this week.

The best percentage chance of one of these defenses turning in good numbers, I think, is Indy at Oakland, followed by San Diego against Detroit. And, I just can't see the Titans doing that much against KC.

Tennessee's D has been bad as of the last 4 or 5 games. Given that is because Haynesworth was out, and now he's back. But I cut Tennessee in my league a few weeks back and am waiting to see something out of them before playing them again.

The Chargers's D has been high scoring but Detroit has a decent offense that can score. They are just streaky and inconsistent. They are probably a safe play but I don't see them puting up huge defensive stats.

If it were me I would play Indy. Even though they are on the road. Oakland is just plain not very good. They are improved but still not good. Indy is #1 vs the pass which leaves Oakland to rely solely on a bruise ribbed Justin Fargas. That seems like the best play on paper to me. Also Indy will probably play their starters this week just in case the Pats tank a game. If the Pats don't, then Indy's D is probably worthless the rest of the season. But for this week go with Indy

Indy D for particular! seem on the alterations in offensive skill between Cleveland and Detroit. Even on a sturdy day Detroit might somewhat honest greater valuable than Cleveland's worst day.

I think you should go with INDY's D. Indy is playing oakland. Oakland's rookie qb jemarcus russell is going to play(not start, but play). and plus oakland has been struggling on offense. So I would lean on Indy to dominate.
