Rice, vegetables(cabbage, tomato, etc) and fruits(strawberry, etc) are one of the main crops in Japan. Japanese do eat fresh foods such as prawn, fish and beef. There are tempayaki, tempura, Japanese curry rice, sashimi, ramen, sushi and Unagi as national foods.
