Nope. Oh, and BTW, Merry Christmas!

Not at all. I am Wiccan and I celebrate Christmas and Yule (Winter Solstice..), and my husband's family has their Eid al-Adha..we respect each other's holidays, and I can't imagine being offended.
I don't know why people get so offended by things like this.

We send out Christmas baskets to all our clients at work and put "Merry Christmas"..we even have a Muslim client that always sends us a Christmas basket because he likes to be part of the holidays..it is very touching.

Nope. I'm an atheist but I appreciate the well-wishing nonetheless. Just because I don't believe in certain things doesn't mean I lack compassion. I appreciate that the holidays are meaningful for a lot of people and don't want to stop them from enjoying themselves. Saying "merry christmas" doesn't mean you're throwing religion in my face - it means you're being nice. I tend to like nice people regardless.

No, Merry Christmas. It's always been that way and I will not change it now. I am not a Christian either.

No. How are you to know my faith? Merry Christmas to you and everyone on here. May the wonder and joy of the season carry you through the coming New Year!

Ordinarily I'd not be offended by that at all; I'd accept it in the spirit in which it was offered. A friendly greeting of the season is a nice thing.

HOWEVER, when it is used as a weapon, pointedly, in a tone that clearly means "I dare you to enjoy this time of year as anything other than my own twisted, sick religious perversion!" then I would be offended.

Would you be offended if I offered you "Happy Holidays?"

No, even though I'm a christian I don't think of christmas as when Jesus was born. I think of it as a time for celebration and happiness! Don't you agree?

Do you realize that you can be an atheist and celebrate Christmas---the Santa side of things not the Christ side

So no, I say it all the time and I like to hear it back.
