I think Joe Biden is too intelligent and reasonable a candidate for the Democrats to nominate. This is the party that nominated stiffs like McGovern and Dukakis after all.

Also Biden isn't tied into the inner circle of the Democratic elite, like the Clintons are. If he started to rise in the polls and become a threat, he'd be an instant target of the Clinton smear-machine.

Biden would have too much integrity to get in the mud with the Clintons and would lose.

Joe Biden's inability to truly rise to the top of the Democratic party is a clear example of how the Democrats always reward politicians that toe the line, bilk the taxpayer and keep the pork-barrel flowing. Biden is ostracized by his own party, because unlike scam artists like Pelosi and Rahm Emanuel, he's not actively trying to slobber as much pork as possible.

The Democrats always talk the talk, until they get elected, then they scam, weasel and grab all the earmarks they can. Guys like Biden who resist playing that kind of game, are left in the dust.

Chris Matthews is an idiot- plus he's puffy and pale. They should call his program "Lardball".

Fatty 2x4 needs to cut down on his helpings at the dinner table.
