We have this new policy called the civility policy, due to the idiots last year who went out of control. Several of the students cursed at the teachers got into many fights, were very disrespectful, throwing chairs, school supplies, and so on.
And no one even listens to the new policy. No one cares about it. It's funny because they though it would work and they spent all there summer developing this policy. What life they heave hu? but the thing that gets us really mad is that a simple word like crap can get you an infraction or a referral. it all depends on what the teacher calls a swear word, so you have to be careful. And most of the time they don't tell you what their rules are so there is no waring for any reason. If you get into a fight you get like 5 days suspension if you swear its 10 days. the problems go in with this new policy. The list goes on and on.

Can't give a simple answer to that, because there are so many independent school districts around here. Now the Dallas system gets a 4, but some of the suburbs have school systems that are 8 or 9.

I would have to rate the school system where I live as an 8.
"USAman" and I live in the same area. I believe his statement about the ranking is accurate. We have some excellent public schools, here.

Hi Randy, I would rate the system here in California a 5. I think they can do a lot better than they are doing.

well the schools in my area have tons of students. my high school had over 5,000 kids! Most people don't do much after graduating. Therefore i would say it wasn't good, but some of us made it out and are doing great. Its also up to teh individual. i would give it a 5

I would rate it a 10. The school system here is ranked at one of the top ten public school systems in America. I guess that's good. Idk.
