Al- Qaeda may be a serious threat if your a wondering American somewhere in Afghanistan. But as a person living in lets say Los Angeles or Michigan. The biggest threat may be our government. They are raising taxes and cutting jobs. They are eliminating basic rights guaranteed by the constitution. Charging enormous sums of money to get a higher education. Plus there institutionalized racist policies make everyone a target (yes even whites) for crime. So who is really a bigger threat to the Common Man: Al qaeda or Government (not just US but governments in general)

Well since Al Queda doesn't have tanks, Apache helicopters, and missle launchers that can program an explosive to explode in a precise location, and can't suspend my freedom, I would have to say, it isn't Al Queda.

Al Queda wouldn't even be a threat if government wouldn't follow the philosophy of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend".

what we go through here daily is exactly what Al Qaeda wants to avoid. They want to remain conserved from change or different customs. We have these racial and money problems becasue we are all different. We cant even celebrate Christmas as we once did because it offends many. I'm a monority and have never found it hard to get by nor finance my schooling and when raising prices get to me I get two jobs until I am okay....good choices always gets you by, not this idea that the govenrment is trying to hold everyone down. It doesnt make sense.

Al-Qaeda. Our government, which as a system is not faulty the people in it is the problem (so vote), does not actively kill innocent Americans. Our government does not want to destroy itself.
What "basic rights" have been removed from us. I disagree with many aspects of the Patriot act, if that is what you refer to. But I still have the right to free speech and freedom of religion.
The government is not cutting jobs, independent companies are as a result of some governmental actions.

the federal government. alquada doesn't going around arresting people without due process or taking property under false wars like the drug wars (even if don't have drugs or there is no proof they don't have to prove it to get your assets but you do have to prove you didn 't thus prove a negative which you can't). then there are more and more taxes and lower wages with higher costs of living. they lie to us deceive us and manipulate us for their own profit. aquada doesn't going around kidnapping people from their homes in the middle of the night and the victims dissappear into a black hole and the local government can't find you or doesn't know what to do. they deceive us lie to us about what they are doing and why, they lie about their motives, and since their motives are bad (they are in want of heart) then they can't be trusted for as far as I can throw an elephant. this here in the good ole usa. can't speak for other countries.

our govenment. And not because of job losses and taxes.

What I don't like is the deliberate and ongoing evisceration of the constitution and the bill of rights, and the resultant loss of individual liberities (justified largely as a necessary evil required to protect us from terrorism), starting wars that are justified by completely lame lies, feeding us abject baloney about everything from the Kennedy assassination to the OKC bombing to Waco to Vince Foster's death. That sort of thing.

Paying just taxes for government services is not a hazard.

Murderous Al-Queda who kills innocents at random, is very dangerous.

I am actually more fearful of the terrorist sympathizers than the terrorists themselves. They are the people that are empowering the terrorists.

I have nothing to fear from my government. Well, except for allowing our borders to remain open.
