How much was spent? and why is tax payer money being spent to do a witch hunt in the name of baseball?

22 million and was paid by MLB..from the commissioners office..yeah, Selig said when he first came in.."We see no drug problem in baseball"...gave a free ride then comes in with Mitchell and found he couldn't control him...hehe..Selig kills the game while cleaning it up..sorta like a deer hunter, huh..

Mitchell is a former Senator. Some stupidly genial convention enables former public servants (heh), particularly those elected (or, in some cases, "elected") to office, to retain their highest past title for the rest of their lives.

In keeping with today's theme of beating on cheaters and taking away things they did not earn, however, we should look forward to January 21, 2009, when we'll have Governor Bush back in the general populace.
