Google Earth - now covered in a mass of flashing straight white lines!!?

What are these lines? Airplane routes, satellites? What?
I probably don't want them and they are annoying. How do I get rid of them temporarily or permanently?

I have no problems my end!! Maybe you could try this Fun "Google Earth alternative" which requires no download.
