He is getting involved with the NFL and cable companies so that games on NFL Network might be seen by more people.

Is this a good idea for a government figure to get involved like this?

Kerry and people like him will always think its up to the gov't to get involved in non gov't issues. Its one more thing to control and regulate. Can't wait till Congress begins making the rules for the NFL next.

No, he is show boating because the New England Patriots are on the NFL Network the last week of the season and as it stands, most of his constituents will not be able to see the game.

The government should stay out of it. NFL Network has their price just like every other cable/satellite channel. If you can't pay, you don't play. It sounds like welfare for sports...just what we need another failed government program.

After the election of '04, he's needed work...

I don't know if it's a "good idea," but it IS a good idea to keep Kerry busy with something else besides trying to raise taxes.

Love, JAck

NO! NFL can put their games on any channel they want. Kerry needs to stay off of ESPN.....I hate that guy.

Geesh...ANOTHER channel and yet ANOTHER excuse for my cable company to INCREASE my rate.
Maybe if they knock out twenty of the shopping channels there would be some room.

lol.. like he really cares. I have a hard time picturing him in a recliner on a Sunday afternoon with a beer and bowl of chips, bemoaning the games he isn't seeing.

IT CAN'T HURT. THE LARGE CABLE COMPANIES JUST OFFER TO MANY JUNK CHANNELS & THEN COMPLAIN ABOUT ANOTHER SPORTS NETWORK. CABLEVISION IS THE WORST OFFENDER.

At least he's not trying to block the implementation of a renewable source of energy (wind) in his state like his senior (Kennedy) is.

Nice to see Kerry earning his money.

How this man keeps his "job" I will never understand.
