Jet service with American Airlines...turbo service also with American Airlines..small twin engine 8 passenger service with Cape Air..Sea plane service (which seats about 16 passengers ) on Seaborne airlines and lastly and my least favorite is the ferry that runs 2 times a month from the eastern tip of PR to St Thomas...omg what a rough ride....guaranteed to get seasick.

No there is not a ferry from San Juan to St Thomas. It would take to long. The fastest way is by plane straight into St Thomas.

as was said, the ferry from Fajado..which is 50 miles from SJU and takes about 2 very rough hours to get to STT......just bite the bullet and fly.....

now, from Old San Juan, Seaborn Airlines offers a seaplane to downtown Charlotte Amalie STT or Christanstead STX..a neat way to get here!

The site vinow.com says there is ferry service every 2wk between StT/StJ and Fajardo, PR. Takes 2hr, costs $100. It lists a phone number for more info.

The best and fastest way is to fly. You can also take a seaplane with seaborne airlines.
