Why do all factions of the U.S. ruling elite deny 9-11 was a government conspiracy?

Question

Obviously, all factions of the U.S. ruling elite were not involved in the conspiracy. Since the evidence overwhelmingly proves a government conspiracy, why don't those members who were not involved demand a real investigation? There are no candidates for president who have come forward to demand the 9-11 investigation be reopened. The 9-11 conspiracy isn't even mentioned in the debates, yet it is the biggest crime ever perpetrated against the American people. Is this because the revelation that 9-11 was, in fact, a government conspiracy would only serve to underscore the criminal lengths that the ruling wealth-elite are willing to go to forward their personal agenda? The neocons laid out their agenda in the PNAC where they called for U.S. global hegemony. In it, they wrote of the need for a "new Pearl Harbor." The evidence is well documented that they acted on their entire agenda. What would happen to America's ruling elite were the real criminals in our society brought to justice?

The ruling elite are scared crapless over this issue. Not only do their puppets on the major media aggressively attack anyone who questions the official version, but the propagandists are everywhere on the Internet also. One cannot ask a question on 9-11 without the propagandists coming out of the woodwork to attack. Yet they never have any real proof to offer as a counter. Instead, they think that it is proof to suggest that only "kooky" people believe in conspiracies. But our nation's history is littered with well-known conspiracies. The Bush cabal hardly goes a week without being involved in some type of conspiracy. This week's conspiracy is the torture tapes scandal. Last week's conspiracy was the NIE report which said Iran does not have a nuclear weapons program. Interestingly, on Oct 26th officials attempted to make future NIE reports unavailable to the public. Obviously, officials knew how damaging the report would be to the neocon agenda.

Prior to that we had the U.S. Attorney's purge. The entire push for war against Iran is a conspiracy. Iran possessing nuclear weapons is hardly the real
issue. Obviously, Iran couldn't use a nuclear weapon without ensuring their own destruction by a much superior, rogue nuclear force -- the U.S. The issue regarding Iran is one of imperialist
domination. The U.S. has targeted much of the Middle East for its own imperialist interests. Were Iran to develop nuclear weapons it would ensure that Iran would not be subject to that imperialist domination.

Other recent conspiracies of note include the Enron conspiracy and the Jack Abramoff scandal. Both of
which involved members of the Bush cabal. Among the most well-known recent conspiracies are the 2000 election, 9-11 (9-11 is a conspiracy even if the government's account is taken at face value -- which, of course, it shouldn't be), Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, the 2004 election, Iran Contra

CIA introducing crack cocaine into the impoverished Black neighborhoods of Los Angeles, Watergate, the Watergate
cover-up, the Savings and Loan scandal, Gulf of Tonkin (never happened), the JFK assassination, the JFK assassination cover-up Cointelpro, MK-ULTRA, Roosevelt
encouraged the attack on Pearl Harbor and knew the Japanese were coming, Nixon/Kissinger involvement in
the overthrow of Salvadore Allende and installation of Pinochet, Kermit Roosevelt and the overthrow of Iran's
democratically elected leader Mohammed Mossadeq, the
creation of the Federal Reserve(a private entity created and organized under tremendous secrecy designed to enrich a handful of bankers), the Robber
Baron's and their accumulation of great wealth by conspiring with politicians to loot the treasury during the building of the railroad.

To deny conspiracies in America, one has to be living in a cave, never having seen a history book.

Because the ruling elite, like all the intelligent & successful people of the US, do NOT think 9/11 was a govt conspiracy.

Every single expert (in demolition & engineering), on the face of the earth, who has published a journal article on 9/11, has rejected the conspiracy "science."

You can't find single, solitary, lone engineer who has published an article, in a real journal, in favor of the conspiracy.

This is a powerful fact that effectively puts an end to the conspiracy tales.

Well, a few things.
Are you saying that 9/11 was planned by the current US Administration? There isn't a lot of evidence for that.

It was, in fact, a conspiracy. However, it was a conspiracy by some Muslim extremists (most of them were Saudis I think).
I think part of what makes people feel that the US Administration had a role in it is how much they benefited from it. Additionally, the investigation of the 9/11 committee was entirely downplayed by the media and the administration, probably because understanding the situation more shows how Iraq had nothing to do with it.
The focus of Iraq after 9/11 is to some extent the real conspiracy of the Administration. The evidence suggests that they were looking for an excuse to go into Iraq for some time.

It's possible that their sheer ineptitude in handling the situation was intentional in hopes that a terrorist would stir up some nationalist, anti-Muslim tendencies in the populace. In any case, I would agree that they are criminal, but your accusation is simply not supported by current evidence.

It has the potential to bring down the entire ruling elite and usher in socialism. This is due to the fact that one must ask why all factions of the ruling elite are either involved in the crime or the cover-up. It would prove the real divide in America is between the haves and the have nots. The have nots are used as pawns by the haves. A real investigation would be revolutionary. It would finally yank the criminals from power.

Former Italian President and the man who revealed the
existence of Operation Gladio Francesco Cossiga has
gone public on 9/11, telling Italy's most respected
newspaper that the attacks were run by the CIA and
Mossad and that this was common knowledge amongst
global intelligence agencies.

Cossiga was elected President of the Italian Senate in
July 1983 before winning a landslide 1985 election to
become President of the country in 1985.

Cossiga gained respect from opposition parties as one
of a rare breed - an honest politician - and led the
country for seven years until April 1992.

Cossiga's tendency to be outspoken upset the Italian
political establishment and he was forced to resign
after revealing the existence of, and his part in
setting up, Operation Gladio - a rogue intelligence
network under NATO auspices that carried out bombings
across Europe in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Gladio's
specialty was to carry out what they coined "false
flag operations," terror attacks that were blamed on
their domestic and geopolitical opposition.

Cossiga's revelations contributed to an Italian
parliamentary investigation of Gladio in 2000, during
which evidence was unearthed that the attacks were
being overseen by the U.S. intelligence apparatus.

In March 2001, Gladio agent Vincenzo Vinciguerra
stated, in sworn testimony, "You had to attack
civilians, the people, women, children, innocent
people, unknown people far removed from any political
game. The reason was quite simple: to force ... the
public to turn to the state to ask for greater
security."


Cossiga's new revelations appeared last week in
Italy's oldest and most widely read newspaper,
Corriere della Sera. Below appears a rough
translation.

"[Bin Laden supposedly confessed] to the Qaeda
September [attack] to the two towers in New York
[claiming to be] the author of the attack of the 11,
while all the [intelligence services] of America and
Europe ... now know well that the disastrous attack
has been planned and realized from the CIA American
and the Mossad with the aid of the Zionist world in
order to put under accusation the Arabic Countries and
in order to induce the western powers to take part ...
in Iraq [and] Afghanistan."
Cossiga first expressed his doubts about 9/11 in 2001,
and is quoted in Webster Tarpley's book as stating
that "The mastermind of the attack must have been a
“sophisticated mind, provided with ample means not
only to recruit fanatic kamikazes, but also highly
specialized personnel. I add one thing: it could not
be accomplished without infiltrations in the radar and
flight security personnel.”

Coming from a widely respected former head of state,
Cossiga's assertion that the 9/11 attacks were an
inside job and that this is common knowledge amongst
global intelligence agencies is highly unlikely to be
mentioned by any establishment media outlets, because
like the hundreds of other sober ex-government,
military, air force professionals, allied to hundreds
more professors and intellectuals - he can't be
sidelined as a crackpot conspiracy theorist.

you mention Iran, yes they stopped it in 2003, but that doesn't mean they haven't started it up again! Sorry but 2003 is old news, I want news about 2007, current news on what Iran is doing with their refined uranium, or do you trust the leaders of Iran to do the right thing for billions of people?

If it was a conspiracy, it started during the Clinton administration when they chose to ignore the threats and pass off the previous terrorist attacks as criminal actions instead of acts of war.
