as a general rule, tolerance is a good thing. But like all things you can find examples that fly in the face this statement... like, say the appeasement and tolerance shown to Hitler.


But again, tolerance is almost ALWAYS a good thing.

If you tolerate something too much you can lose your own beliefs, morals, way of life, etc.

For example, the world is too "PC'. For example, when did saying "Merry Christmas" to someone become such a bad thing.

People just need to get over things and sometimes take a stand.

If a society tolerates that which will lead to its destruction, yes.

Such as radical Islamic terrorism.
