a is a trick question - x = 0 - but you should always recognize special cases like this.

c & d are easy - take the log of both sides

b is the hardest, but not by much once you remember that 16 = 4^2 and 64 = 4^3. Converting both exponent terms to powers of 4, merging them, and taking the log of both sides should work.
