It is a horror movie, and I think it has something to do with things that happened in the past written about in the bible... I think it has a lake that the water turns to blood... an stuff like that... any ideas???

It may be The Reaping with Hilary Swank, have copied link below for you to check. Even if it turns out not to be this film this is well worth a look at. Wasn't a highly publicised film yet I rented it and thought it was one of the best films I had seen in ages.
