simplify: -10x - 3(x - 2) I got -13x - 6 Is that right?

Simplify: 6(y - 1) + 3 ( - 2y + 2) I got 0 is that right?

I'm stuck on solving

81 > - 9w

m/3 > - 9

p + 7 ≤ - 11

as you might know a(b+c) equals ab+ac so
-10x-3(x-2) = -10x(-3)*x+(-3)*(-2)so we have -10x+6

6(y-1)+3(-2y+2)= 6y-6+(-6y)+6=0

81>-9w
you can divide both sides by a positive number so I divide by 9 and I have 9>-w so when you multiply a negative number in this equation the direction of the > changes to < so by multipling be (-1) 9
m/3>-9
so multiplying both sides by 3 : m>-27

P+7<= -11
substracing 7 from both sides : P<=-18

-10x - 3(x - 2) = -10x - 3x + 6 = -13x + 6

6(y - 1) + 3(-2y + 2) = 6y - 6 - 6y + 6 = 0

81 > -9w
w > -9

m/3 > -9
m > -27

p + 7 ≤ -11
p ≤ -18

1)
-10x - 3x + 6
so:
-13x + 6 (two negatives make a positive (in Maths only, not real life!)

2)
6y - 6 - 6y + 6 = 0, so yes you are right

3)
81 > -9w
-9w < 81
-w < 9
w > -9
(when dividing by a negative number, reverse the inequality)

4)
m/3 > -9
m > -27

5)
p + 7 ≤ -11
p ≤ -4

-10x -3 (x-2) = -10x -3x +6 two negs make a positive. check this out.

and correct for the second. w= 8 or less, p = -18, m= -27?

-13x +6 is correct answer
0 is correct answer

81>-9w
9 >-w
-9 < w

m/3 > -9
m > -27

p+7 ≤ - 11
p ≤ - 18

No. (check the sign!)
Yes!

The next three are a matter of getting the variable on one ide of the inequality sign and the values on the other.

to solve for w, divide both sides by -9 (and remember to flip the inequaltiy sign)

for m, multiply by 3
for p, subtract 7 from both sides.
