does anyone know how i can send money to my dad in illinois because i have a bank account its a checking and savings account but i dont have a debit card yet mailed because it takes seven days. so is there any company that you guys know of that i can use to send money online to my dad with my checking account. like i said i havent received my debit ir checks yet so i only have my routing and account number.

if you have your dad's account number just go to your bank and they can do it for you -- fee will be aroundg 10 dollars!!!!

If you dont want to send him a personal check in the mail or want to use the temporary personal checks they issue you when you open an account (these are perfect for mailing)...Then you can go to the post office, get a postal money order (less than a dollar to get) using cash you withdrew from your ATM or bank teller and mail that. You hold on to the stub or copy and if it gets lost in the mail, you can recover the money from the post office... wiring money is expensive, not worth your money unless it is an emergency and needs to be done overnight...if so, then go to walmart with the cash and they will wire it to him for a fee....

Can't you just mail him a check? It'll be there in two or three days - or overnight via fedex.

go to your bank draw out the amount you want to give them plus a little extra go western union to wire it him. http://www.westerunion.com
