primalclaws1974, i think you are racist/ignorant. yes, i did say that littering is "ghetto," but what does that have to do with african americans??? i never mentioned race in my question. you are the person who equated being ghetto with african americans. it's funny how you can get ignorant people to express their true feelings about a race.

Well, without hearing the entire conversation, I could not make an intelligent decision. He could have been telling jokes how would I know just from reading that "snippet" of information? Other comedians make jokes about other races, as well as their own, and I find it funny, maybe this is one of those situations. Every time someone says something, regardless of race, does not make them a racist. I think this was quite misleading.

In a way. I travel in lots of different neighborhoods and must admit that in the high class neighborhoods you don't see the litter or trash being thrown about like you do in the city or other parts of town. Maybe they pay someone to clean up the streets, etc. Who knows.
I've seen people in the inner city and surrounding areas just open up their windows and toss out McDonald's bags etc and wondered why they do this. They don't like the fact that the rest of the world thinks their neighborhoods are trashy so why do they contribute to the stereotype by throwing trash around? Kids just toss candy wrappers on the ground with no thought at all. You would think they would have some respect for other's property. I would say they wouldn't want someone tossing crap in their yards but it seems it doesn't bother them.
How can this person know for sure that the people are white trash or a black American that has never been to Africa. Is he psychic?

How can you call this racist? He hits two different types of people in both race and culture. First the White's then the African Americana's but he also hit the "white trash" which is different this is a culture not a race. So his remarks were not racist but rather dumb It was meant to be shocking shock jock's do that for a living. Do I like it? No! Do I listen Of course Not! Get over it! Move on.

Don't leave out the Hispanic people they throw out more trash because there is usually more illegals in the car. Lets say it is a ford Ltd so the capacity for Mexicans in the vehicle is 20 ususlly exceeded to 30 so, 120 taco wrappers adds up!.........we are all racist in some way! I just don't like dumbasses and the come in all colors anr races!

His statement meets the definition as racist, however he is also making an observation about a specific act -throwing stuff from cars. I live in a mostly white, upper class area. Only white upper class people throw stuff from their cars here...

There's no such thing as racism because there is only ONE race.EVERY person in the world is homo sapien sapien,the same genus,species,and subspecies.
Besides he was just making an observation.If I say "mexicans commit more murders than whites" Thats not racist,it is merely a mathematical fact.

So what? If he is, he is. But maybe it's just an observation. believe it or not sometimes when people make a comment like this, it's not just an oppressed minority. Sometimes that person really is at fault!

First you'd have to define racist. It seems to include any white person who ever says anything that's not 150% positive about black people. It doesn't seem to include any black people who make disparaging remarks about white people.
We could all learn to stop making disparaging remarks and stop putting labels on people.
Why do we feel it's so necessary to put these labels on each other?
