Ms. Purity, a joke aobut a guy on his roof during a flood and tow boats and a helicopter came to gt him and he said the Lord will take are of me.
Later when he was in Heaven, he asked an angel why they didn't save him and the angel said they send to boats and a helicopter. Extra protection may not hurt, but great answer.

Well I don't work with the state and I have two small kids, I carry a key ring hand mace because I come home late at night by myself. Besides that I have taken self defense classes so I feel more confident and watch for what seems to be Wong. I don't carry a gun or own one because I am afraid of my kids getting a hold of it. Teaching them about guns does not detour there curiosity. With this being said I think that every young and elderly woman should carry mace.

I always want to make sure that I have some type of defense item with me. In the car, I carry one of those steering wheel lock bars. If you take out the part you pull to extend and lock it... it's metal and serves as a good "club". shoot... The club HAS GOT to work when you're still in the car too right??? haha. Anyway, I never have had to pull that out, but living in Los Angeles, you never what could happen. So i keep that readily accessible just in case of a rainy day.
I make sure there's items around the house too in specific locations just in case there's a break in or somebody outside who's asking for trouble. (knifes, bats, golf clubs, etc...)
You never know when using a phone call for 911 or using your fists will be enough. All it takes is one person who doesn't give a $h*+ to take your life for something so petty.

Nope cause i dont have any enemies,,,what would be the point if thats the case cause if i get mugged or somethin i know id use it and end up either killing someone or be killed so for those of u who carry weapons with no enemies out there i think u should reconcider. Also u might end up using ur weapon at a moment of rage,,ex walking in ur house with ur girl or wife bangin someone.

I just don't go places where protection is needed. When I was in college (late 1970s) I carried pepper spray since I had to walk home by myself after a night class. I was paranoid since I was at BYU and that's not an area that is high in crime!

I am a bookkeeper. I do not carry anything...but honestly I think I should have SOME form of protection.
I need to invest in some mace or pepper spray for sure!!!

yes a gun a knife a knuckle and a Gerber tool everything goes in my pocket cept for the gun on belt you never know when you might need this stuff

I always carry a Pepper/mace Ultra Viloet Spray Foam where ever I may roam....Just don't sneak up aon me and scare me...you could be crying awhile

No, I try to instead be aware of my surroundings and try not to put myself in potentially threatening situations.I do however keep a basesball bat under my bed incase someone breaks in my house when I'm sleeping.
