it seriously depends on whether you want to play a game for free or not.
Handsdown, World of Warcraft is obviously the better game.
but if your computer cannot fully process WoW, play runescape which is a fun alternative to WoW

world of warcraft has better graphics more people playing a better game but the price is a little over the top. if you don't mind about graphics and you want a free game runescape is good.

Runescape completely, thoroughly, without question, and beyond any fiber of doubt in my body, has got to be the WORST game people are still playing. Just because it's free doesn't make it good, and the sad thing is that there's tons of other equally good and better made free games out there.
WoW gets my vote no contest.
