Just myths?...or urban legends too? Well there's an urban legend that a killer drives around with his lights off and follows and then kills anyone that flashes their lights on and off at him to try and get him to turn his lights on.
And break a mirrow and get 7 years bad luck, don't stand under a ladder, don't open an umbrella inside, black cats are evil, step on a crack and break your mother's back...there's all kinds of em. Loch Ness Monster, Vampirism, Yeti. That's all I can think of right now.

Hi. Myths and legends are born from folklore. There are masses of them. You might try googling "myth + rare" for some not so well heard of ones. There are some nicely Australian ones at the link below.
You might consider the fabulous story of the Daddy Long Legs being one of the world's most venomous spiders - if only it had fangs long enough to penetrate human skin.
I'll let you research the truth of that tale for yourself! *chortles*
