Better to purchase a can of real Fixative, from an art supply store. It is designed for that purpose, and will allow for some continued work, even after spraying.

Hairspray is a poor substitute, to be used when real fixative is not available.

You may be lacking nutrients in your body. Make sure you are getting adequate Vitamin C, take a multivitamin as well... and eat a balanced diet with lots of leafy greens to help flush any toxins that may be in your system. **When you bruise, do your bruises stay yellow? This is a vitamin C deficiency, and I know its silly but back in the day (I mean in Pirate days), it was called Scurvy!
