Yes, I am =) and I REALLY will be when my husband comes home from deployment tomorow night. I've been watching those corny Christmas TV movies and singing Christmas songs to my one year old son when he gets crabby. Works like a charm. Christmas got SOOO much better after I had a baby!

The Christmas Spirit-is the thought of giving, the aura/feeling of serenity.Or it could still be the mood of tolerance, being kind and be a blessing to someone. If you knew the accounts of Mary and Joseph, that very night before Christ was born..As I relate this, for a long time Mary and Joseph took a long time before they could find a place to spend the night.I could say the guy/owner of where Jesus was born had the Spirit of Christmas in Him..for being a blessing to the couple. It also relates to become humble just as Jesus did.

Yes! The best way to get in the Christmas spirit is to help others out. Go caroling or volunteer to ring the Salvation Army bell!

I have the Christmas spirit all year round.
Not the spirit of buying things, not the spirit of gluttony, but the spirit of Christ, of forgiveness and renewal of life that follows putting my best effort to do the right thing.

Not yet, but I will be. They say that the less you have, the less you have to worry about. So... Merry Christmas to everyone out there who will be alone or is also too broke to travel. Enjoy the quiet peaceful 25th of December with your toe socks on and your lo mein and some spiked egg nog. Cheers.

I am really trying to be.. Been trying to find some gifts for myself for christmas but either.. I don't want to pay what they are asking or I can't find what I want, or they are out..

Why can't they have a store that is easy to shop online or in- store that has any and everything you would ever want and at really great prices?

yes and no...yes because i feel so differently about this year than others...want to make a difference and do things for others...want it to be special for someone other than myself and no because as with each season the "gotta have" gifts are so costly which if allowed can lose that feeling of christmas...its not so much about the gifts; its about the sprit of loving others and showing that not only on this day but each day we all are special, cared for , and loved
