We just got our tree up, (but no lights) went Christmas shopping at the mall of georgia, and that seemed Christmasy, but that was it.
I feel no "Christmas spirit ness"

Maybe because theres no snow, and its 75 degrees outside

Anyone else understand this depressing situation?

Oh yes. I live in Florida, just put up lights...but no Christmas tree. It's 82 out today...beautiful, but most definitely not Christmas.

There's a meteor shower tonight though, and being outside at night time when it's a little chillier...I'm hoping it kicks the holiday season in for me.

Sorry to come in all chipper and break the scrooge spirit.. but I TOTALLY FEEL CHRISTMAS!!! My decorations have been up since day after Thanksgiving, my gifts are wrapped and I've been done shopping since December 1st.. and I'm really excited! I am constantly baking.. and today I am making Candy Cane dog biscuits for our Australian Shepperd. It's my newborn son's first Christmas and this year couldn't be any better! Best Wishes!

i'm in louisiana and it's been in the lower 80's all week. i have had the tree and decorations up sine right after thanksgiving and it was cold when we put it up, so it felt christmasy but now it's lost that christmas effect. it's supposed to get down in the 30's this weekend though for the lows, so it should bring that christmas feeling back.

Well it is cold up here, but I have lost my spirit! I look forward to christmas dinner with my grandma. Everyone else in VA seems concerned about buying and receiving the best gifts. I just want some ham and mashed potatoes and see my family!

Yea, seems like now its just put up a tree, give gifts and cook dinner for family and then your done.

Seems like its more of a chore than the actual feeling of just being happy that you are with your family even though you might not get anything
