joelle, (love your name by the way) at 14 you are so young to have seen the sexual, racial and religious bigotry I've seen in my life. In my heart of hearts I pray your generation can end those disgusting traits.

Fred Head, I completely agree! I am a feminist but can't vote for Hillary. We don't need someone who beholden to the lobbyists. And the fact that she voted for the war is Iraq is my reason for NOT voting for her. She knew it was wrong but it wasn't the politically correct for her. She's just another political wh*re, more of the same! We NEED a complete change!

Neither... I think the media is making a big deal out of Barack and Clinton, so the democrats don't have a chance of winning.

They should focus on the other candidates like Bill Richardson and Joe Biden.

Let's face it, we live in a country full of racists, and misogynists.

But if I had to take a guess, I would say the black man would win before a white woman.

After all, black men were allowed to vote before women.

O, I hope Mitt Romney wins, because we need a businessman to help this country ravaged by bad economy decisions and debt.
I also like the fact that he never spends his time bad-mouthing his opponents. Real gentleman. I don't want some gossip-loving, big mouth, good for nothing president.
Obama is a cool guy, but all I ever hear from him is talking bad things about Hillary. Hillary, on the other side, never answers the question in the straight way, and many times changes her position on several views. I am also sick of Bushes and Clinton's. Can we have somebody else in the white house? Mitt Romney is the way. And I consider myself a democrat! Go figure.

It is not a case of race or gender. It is Experience versus empty rhetoric. If one wants to go by Oratory, even religious preachers of churches in small towns in Africa do excellent job. But can all such be handed over the responsibility of the greatest responsibility of running America, the lone super power. To check what could happen , one can look at the History of America and its presidents if there is some thing similar.

I'm rooting for the white woman because I really believe that she's the most capable. However, I agree with the poster that said that black men got the vote before women, so if that mentality still exists with most Americans, then the black man will win.

The Black Man. No woman has ever made it to the white house. Sen. Hillary Clinton is running, But i don't think she will get it. When it comes to politics and women, The women are out voted by a good majority. I am a woman myself, and it's the truth..

Honestly...neither.

A white guy will win because the system is set up like that. The professional politicians don't want their little apple cart upset.

Maybe its time to push their apple cart off a cliff...and find a Jewish black woman candidate...lol.

Pity that Sammy Davis Jr didn't have a younger sister interested in politics...

Man, that would really drive the home-grown extremists and talk radio fanatics up a wall...

I will be voting on who I believe can take us forward, not who has the breast or the prettiest skin tone. And for the one who answered "The white woman sad to say it tho.." what does it matter if the white woman gets it if she can do the job. Why is it so bad to be white anymore? Not every white person is racist . Thats just sad! Personally it would be great if we could take a little of each of their views, But as it is the best man or woman will win. I , just as many other races am proud to be who i am...........we all should be, no matter what race or sex!

That's really tough... I lived in Alabama for the past 4 years and most of those racist rednecks would never in a million years vote for a black man. They would also never vote for a white woman because women should be pregnant and barefoot and stand behind their man, not leading the country. Personally, I think people should give a woman a chance, we've seen what men can do (good and BAD) to this country.

It may be pretty equal i some regard, but if I have to committ on this one, I think a white woman has the edge. There is still a lot of stupid prejudice in this country.

I am supporting Obama at this point, but will vote for the eventual dem nominee in the general. I still think that will be Hillary and I think she will win in november, but that is a long time off.

I think the second coming of Christ and judgment day has a higher chance of happening than a black man with the middle name of Husein being elected united states president, so I'll go with white woman
