Pride and prejudice has been made into a movie with Kiera Knightly. in fact almost all of Jane Austen's novels have been made into movies at one point. Memoirs of a Geisha, was made into a movie. It followed the book pretty well, but there were noticable differences. I capture the Castle, by dodie smith has a movie aas well....and both the book and the movie are extremly similar....it's very good....hope this helps a bit...

I think that Fried Green Tomatoes both book and movie are equally good. As well as anything by John Grisham like The Rainmaker was both good as book and movie.

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. There are several movie versions. The latest one was with Gary Sinise.
