Huckabee.

If I wanted the Democrat to win (which I do), I would want them to run Ron Paul or Fred Thompson. Democrats would clean both of their clocks.

If I knew that there was a chance for a Republican to win and I wanted the least of evils, I would want either Huckabee (he's been sounding pretty presidential lately...a uniter not a divider) or John McCain (my second choice. Although I never liked his pro-war stance, overall he is the most sensible of the remaining candidates.)

Ron Paul

I am an independent, so...

GOP - 1) Ron Paul
2) (distant second) Fred Thompson

Dems - Obama

I think Ron Paul is the only one I am actually encouraged about. I think Fred and Obama are the ones that would do the least damage if elected.

I don't belong to any party. But since I mostly vote for Republicans for president I'll tell you who I like amoung the Democrats. Bill Richardson, he won't be nominated but I still like him best of the Democrats.

I too am a card-carrying Libertarian, so both the GOP and the Dems are the OTHER party to me...

Today, if I had to pick one candidate from both sides, I'd probably be inclined to vote for Ron Paul (Republican) or Barrack Obama (Democrat).

Independent, but I usually end up on the Republican side. So, Sen. Obama. But that may be more of a personal thing. I can honestly can say, I'm not sure of his positions on policies, he's statements can be vague, but he seems like a decent guy. He doesn't seem to lower himself to mudslinging, his message is about positive things, not blaming everybody. Honest, uniting.
