My Dad put a big box in corner of the living room. He said he had a secret and that there was a Scalectrix for me in the box. I believed him. When I opened the box on Christmas Day it contained a home made radio. I was initially disappointed but a year later I used the radio to listen to Radio Moscow whilst lying in bed at night as they gave the alternative view to the Vietnam War, this would be about 1964.

A whole lot. I asked for many things at Christmas but eventually got them during the year when my parents were able to afford them. I can't think of any offhand because I usually got them sometime during the year for birthdays or when Dad travelled and returned home with something.

A Lite Brite. I've never even gotten a chance to play with one though I always wanted to. Maybe one of these days I'll buy one for myself, just so I get the opportunity. LOL
