As vice president Gore was not commander in chief and as such not in a position to "make the USA safe" - why didn't you know this?

it is fairly well proved on the other hand that president George W Bush's incompetence at this post has made America LESS safe

Well let's rate them both on a scale of 0 to 10, with ten being having singlehandedly made USA totally secure for the next 500 years with no compormise of our civil liberties ... and zero being total lack of effect, having neither increased or decreased out the nation's safety.

On such a scale, Mr's Bush would score less that zero. His outcomes have been, in the jargon of science or finance, NEGATIVE gain. His score s MINUS something.

On such a scale, even a total zero is doing better than Mr. Bush and Mr. Gore is certainly much better than nothing.

I think the asnwer is obvious.
I don't know of ANYTHING Gore has done to make America safe?? What has Gore done? Kudo's to his movie/documentary but that is nothing more than propaganda at this point and time.

As a whole, and statistically speaking, we're each no safer nor more at risk because of either of these men. We're all still much more likely to die because of illness or accident than by terrorism or climate change.
