I've started my own website to sell my handmade bracelets.
I would love some input on how I can make my page better, if there are any suggestions I would love to hear them! Also I realise there isn't much variety on the site yet but more is being added :)
http://braceletbee.webs.com/index.htm
Thanks :)
Oh ya and if you see anything you'd like go ahead and place an order! Just in time for the Holidays!

The look is nice, simple and fitting with what you are selling, but here's my constructive criticism:

The bubbles from the mouse are cute but annoying after clicking for a few pages. The music on your contact us page is unnecessary too. If you think of the most successful online stores, they don't use such gimmicks - they keep it simple for the shopper to navigate and purchase.

I would not buy from a website that asked me to fill out a contact us form; I prefer to buy from a site that has an automatic shopping cart that lets me pay immediately with credit card, paypal or google checkout. There are some costs associated with accepting credit cards so I understand why you wouldn't want to do this and although good open source shopping cart software costs nothing, it probably requires additional hosting costs that you are not paying today. This is something to consider if your business starts to grow.

Your "rates & services" should be renamed to something like "ordering and shipping".

You have a link from the product page to a satisfied customers page that should either be removed or include genuine customer feedback.

I think your photos page is redundant because the photos are no clearer than on the product page and it seems to serve no other purpose.

You have a box called Sponsors halfway down the product page I don't understand - is this for ads?

You may want to think about how you will display products if you have many more. Will you go to multiple pages, will you make the customer scroll down forever or will you create product categories? Does the website engine you used even allow these options? Best to think about and make these decisions now rather than later as design changes get harder the later you leave them.

Despite my comments, you have done a great job so far and I wish you the best of luck in your business!!

It's looking a lot better but your front page still needs editing. Capital letters appear in weird places, and then when you do need one, it's lower case. You're missing some commas and apostrophe too. Also, you really do need a "buy now" button on each item.

$4.00 is too much shipping for one bracelet if you're not using priority to begin with.

Your "about me" is still about your husband and kids. Sweet, but not professional. It needs to be only about those things that relate to the customer. We all have lovely families. As a customer, I want to know how much practice you have had, what interesting places you find the materials, what your design credentials are. Why are your bracelets better than the millions out there, or any I could make myself? I'm sure they must be, but it has to be spelled out.

Your front page is very attractive. The little bubble and the photo of angel lady stand out against the background making you notice the site. Add more pictures of your products. The ones you have on already are beautiful. Maybe sell some raw jewelry making tools and supplies to make it more interesting?

Nice Site! I like the mouse trail. Try this though. The pictures on the front page arent that big. Link a blown up picture to the smaller ones, so when i click them i can see what they look like better. Also, i didnt really quite like having to email someone to place an order... I wonder if you could find a way to add a shopping cart? Good Job though, better than i could do.
