Hi!
At your age, many boys feel the same as you. Usually they don't want to be gay, but can feel attraction to a boy and are scared of being gay because of this.
Many boys grow out of this phase in their late teens and some even in their twenties and then realise who they are really attracted to. Sometimes, they realise they are gay and just have to accept it.
So maybe you are just going through a phase in your teens that many teens go through.
Anyhow, if in the future you realise that you are only attracted to boys, remember that being gay is not such a bad thing. When you're at school, it's more difficult because all the boys call everything "gay" in a negative sense and as an insult but they never usually mean "gay" in it's real meaning.
Being gay is natural remember just as having red hair, or being a cheerful person or a very moody person.
The problem is that when we grow up, we are surrounded by books and television cartoons that show us that a princess (girl) is rescued bye a prince (boy) then they fall in love and have a family. But people forget about the many gay relations - men falling in love with another man and women with another woman - this is also normal and it has always been the case. And by the time you leave school, most boys grow up and realise that there are many different types of people...including gays and they learn to accept this too!
My point is you don't need to worry. You're not the only boy that masturbates and thinks of other boys....this is part of growing up for all teen boys
Take care :-)

Mixed feelings are common at your age. You're just discovering yourself sexually and you're going to be very sensitive to any kind of stimulii your imagination can produce. You're turning yourself on because you're playing with yourself and because everything related to sex seems very naughty and forbidden right now. If you see gay sex as more naughty and forbidden than straight sex, then it follows that thinking about gay sex will be a big turn on for you. I have been down this road: I love the fantasy of gay sex, but in reality, I tried it and hated it. I can also relate to the fact that you simply feel more comfortable with other men than with girls: That in itself does not make you gay. Most things will turn you on right now and some of them may disturb you, but your body is just being super-sensitive because of the age you are and things will calm down in due course.

At 13 you are highly confused and the chances are you're bisexual anyway but you could end up gay or straight as I said you're confused and as you said you've got mixed feelings. Now being shy around girls and not guys says nothing, I'm shy around girls and not guys but I'm 100% straight, not a gay thought in me. At the moment you can't possibly say and if you do end up gay or bi it's nothing to be ashamed of.

At 13 you get an erection from anything, even thinking about not getting one. It'll be easier to figure this out in a couple of years when you and your body understand each other better.

You'd rather cut your hand off than be gay? So what happens if you find that men do it for you? You could be bisexual, what would you do then?
