Yesterday Huckabee asked Romney "Don't Mormons believe that God and the Devil are brothers"
Huckabee just washed his presidential career down the toilet in my opinion.
Huck did apologize and Romney accepted. Why would anyone want to vote for a man like that, along with his track record being so awful??

He made a huge mistake by attacking another religion during an interview with the New York Times. Next he denies it by stating it was out of context. That failed so he says the reporter "pressed him". That failed so his campaign manager makes him apologize to avoid complete and utter rejection in Iowa. Meanwhile the dems "hold fire" on the whole thing (but cant stop laughing at what idiots we repubs for picking this guy as a frontrunner)

Me bad!! I apologize for the fact that Huck did not say it was directly to Romney. But if he is a Theoligy major should have known this.

Becca your details are good but the point is why Huck is making such a big deal every chance he has to point out that Romney is a Mormon and wants to put doubts in peoples minds about O my gosh a Mormon!!

I wouldn't vote for him to begin with.
This country doesn't need a minister as it's president.
PERIOD.
For crying out loud...the man doesn't even believe in evolution.

It's just more political calculation.
Hillary has a staffer release to Novak a message that they have crap on Obama but don't want to tell anyone what it is. The next day they deny it, and then apologize for it. Too late! Damage done (which was the plan all along).
Huckabee is trying to do the same thing. Send out little jabs, and is trying to send the message that "real" Christians would never vote for a Mormon. Then can apologize and hope to minimize the aftermath of such a statement.
Why would anyone vote for such a man as Huckabee? Because they are fundamentalist nuts thats why (everyone else will be voting for another).
I will be voting for Romney.

Well you have it a bit skewed. Huckabee made a remark to that effect in a recent newspaper interview. He apologized stating that what he said was untrue and that it did not come out the way he intended. Romney graciously accepted his apology.
Apparently, the bit about Christ and the Devil being brothers is an old, unfounded rumor that anti-Mormon groups have spread around for years. I have never heard it before.
I agree, it makes Huckabee look pretty stupid. But, if Romney chooses to forgive him than I do to. I am not even a Mormon.
Merry Christmas!

it extremely is in simple terms extra political calculation. Hillary has a staffer launch to Novak a message that they have got crap on Obama yet do no longer elect to tell every physique what it extremely is. day after immediately they deny it, and then exhibit regret for it. Too late! harm accomplished (which replaced into the plan all alongside). Huckabee is making an attempt to do a similar ingredient. deliver out little jabs, and is making an attempt to deliver the message that "genuine" Christians could never vote for a Mormon. Then can exhibit regret and desire to decrease the aftermath of this style of assertion. Why could every physique vote for this style of guy as Huckabee? because of the fact they are fundamentalist nuts thats why (anybody else would be balloting for yet another). i'm going to be balloting for Romney.

After hearing all the buzz about Huckabee's question to Romney.....it actually made me think if there was a justifiable reason for him to ask that question and what if any proof there was that the question could be answered "Yes"....
Genesis 6:2 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
2That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Job 1:6 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
It is apparent in these verses that God had more than one son...as it also appears that Satan walked amongst them.
Isaiah 14:12-15 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
12)How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Is this when Lucifer fell out of grace with God?
The first time that the King James version mentions the word "Devil" is in the new testament.
Genesis 3:1 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)Genesis 3
1Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
The serpent that invoked Eve to bite that apple was a animal "created by God"...did all the animals talk?
We have always heard how Lucifer aka Satan, Devil..was an angel cast down from heaven - but can you give me the exact phrase in the bible that tells you that they are the same? In modern translations of the bible or contemporary versions, the "sons of God" are called Angels. Does this give creedence to the possibility that Jesus and the Devil were brothers....with Jesus being the Good Son and Satan being the Black Sheep of the Family? Just something to consider.

I'd like to know why to? Maybe a little jealous that Romney is ahead of you?? I'm getting sick of the candidates taking cheap shots at each other by bringing up TOTALLY irrelevant things. It doesn't even make Romney look bad because it is so irrelevant it makes Huckabee look bad.
What is funny is then he apologizes. Same thing for Hillary she brings up Obama's drug use. Huh? He doesn't do them now? Does he? NO! Ok then Hillary nice try.

Our country is at war now and we need a true leader to guide us through the perilous times ahead. Mitt Romney is exactly the kind of person we need to run this country. Before any of us were born, we all lived together in Heaven with Heavenly Father. Some of us rebelled and started a war with those who were faithful . This event was called "The War in Heaven". Eventually the bad guys lost and became demons . the good guys won and were born with white skin here on Earth. Those who did not fight very hard or were indifferent were born on Earth with dark skin. The bravest of the brave leaders of the Lords Army were born here on Earth with White skin to good Mormon families.
During the war, Romney must have been one of the top Commanding Generals. Just look at his awe inspiring persona and strong Mormon family. Amerika needs General Romney to help us win the war on terror and bring Salvation to the world. Vote Romney in '08.

Huckabee was never going to get above 20% of Republicans anyway. When you start approaching the 20% threshold, people start looking and reporting more closely, and rightly so.
The guy is a Fundamentalist, with an incoherent position on health care, a litmus test to appoint Supreme Court justices to overturn Roe v Wade (these come from his own website, when you read the whole context of his positions). America is not a fundamentalist Christian country.

Imahine the mess we would have if he were elected. Would he give his SOTU addresses from a pulpit, and outlaw any religion that didnt coincide with his? Every time he opens his mouth, he proves the old saying to be true, "A fool is born every minute"
After 8 years of GWB, do we really need or want another one of a different name?

He was being insincere when he asked that, like he had no idea. Huckabee was in Salt Lake at the big Baptist National Convention on "how to witness to Mormons" so the idea that he didn't know what he was asking is ludicrous. He lost all credibility. He was just trying to be mean and inflammatory and you can tell he really hates Mormons, which is bigotry as well.
