When Simon was on the cross in place of jesus the Bible says that a soldier pierced Jesus. That was supposed to be the shedding of blood. But.....the Bible says water came out. No blood. A crucifixion does not kill by bloodshed. That was the reason for the sword. Wrong reason. Wrong guy.

No, the piercing was to ensure that Jesus was dead since he expired in such a rapid fashion. It was rapid because he was nailed to the cross; many crucified people were not.
The shedding of blood was a requirement...think of it as a blood sacrifice; the shedding of innocent blood to atone for the sins of mankind. This was a requirement to bring about the prophesized plan of salvation. And it was not Simon (Peter) in Christ's place on the cross or the plan would not have worked...sinless, blameless, innocence was required, and that's what occurred in the person of Jesus. Right reason; right person.

The shedding of blood by Jesus on that cross was a GIFT from God for the remission of our sins. God loves us that much and saw no other way for our atonement than to do that. Would you rather that he did as he had done in the time of Noah? And the blood of Jesus was caused by more than that sword my friend. They nailed him to that cross through his hands and feet.

answer: it is not and G-d abhors human sacrifice. no you would be able to take on the sins of yet another and blood isn't required for forgiveness. In Leviticus 5:11-13, it states, "If, even with the incontrovertible fact that, he can't have sufficient funds 2 doves or 2 youthful pigeons, he's to hold as an offering for his sin a 10th of an ephah of wonderful flour for a sin offering." you would be able to additionally see that one would not desire a blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins interior the e book of Jonah 3:10. There, the Bible only states that God observed the works of the people of Ninevah. in Deuteronomy 24:sixteen, God only states this as someone-friendly concept, "each guy would be positioned to death for his very own sins." this thought is repeated interior the Prophets, in Ezekiel 18 "The soul that sinneth, it shall die... the righteousness of the righteous would be upon him, and the wickedness of the depraved would be upon him." Deuteronomy 12:30-31, God calls Human sacrifice some thing that He hates, and an abomination to Him, "for each abomination to the eternal, which he hateth, have they achieved unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt interior the fire to their gods. In Jeremiah 19:4-6, God tells us that Human sacrifice is so terrible an thought to Him, that it did no longer even come into His ideas to call for it from His introduction, "they have outfitted additionally the severe places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt alternatives unto Baal, which I commanded no longer, nor spake it, neither got here it into my ideas." We see the same undertaking in Psalm 106:37-38, and in Ezekiel sixteen:20. Hosea 11:9 God let us know, "For i'm God and not a guy."

Alas the dwelling upon inconsequential minutae blinds people to the beautiful and glaringly evident truth and thereby they remain submerged in the eternal hellfire of discussion forums and chat rooms. Jesus was condemned by the scandalmnogering , tittle tattling mob. Heresay and falsehoods condemned the Father to death., We are all guilty. God did not die for us. He was betrayed by us. The harsh and bitter truth that we refuse to confront.

"the shedding of blood" was for atonement. Jesus died as a ransom sacrifice for forgiveness of our sins. This stopped the need of sacrificial atonement.
