I would add a humidifyer to the baby's room. Also, use the bulb syringe to suck out any nasal discharge. Check the baby's temperature rectally ( be sure not to check right after a bath and when the baby has not been dressed or swaddled in many layers as this can give you a false reading). If the temperature is greater than 99.8, you should take him to the doctor right away.
Hope your baby is feeling well soon!

I would mention it to the doctor especially if the baby is having difficulty feeding because of a blocked nose. If that is the case, they will more than likely give you some saline drops to put in his nostrils before each feed.

The baby is too young for Calpol or other over the counter remedies. Try Carvol drops on a hanky near his/her bed to clear the nose at night. Also, a vapour/menthol baby bath can help, as can being in a steamy bathroom.

Try not to worry too much but do go see the doctor if you feel at all concerned. Babies often pick up little sniffles when they are small and they don't usually cause too many problems unless it's stopping them feed.

Just let the doctor know and keep using a nasal aspirator to keep the babies nose clear to breath. I would also suggest getting a Vicks Vapor humidifier to put in the babies room to keep the air clean and clear. Also, a vapor bath is a good idea as well. My favorite thing to clean the nose clear too is Little Noses saline drops. They work wonders!

Your baby is too little to play the guessing game. Take him to the doctor. Still, don't worry too much, it's probably just a cold.

Be sure to have a humidifier, aspirator, and saline drops. If your baby is still too stuff and having problems eating, turn on the shower and sit in a steamy bathroom with him/her. That helped my son tremendously.
