Not at all some people lavish vast sums of money on pressys for their beloeved pets. What you could do is ask yourself what your dog needs...perhaps obedience lessons or a new lcollar and lead. I know your talking about silly thinks like new toys of bedding...but use your guile here and you may avert a silly row by suggesting more pratical things such a obedience training classes...you could all get involved then and you woould'nt end up get pissed off by the spending. Jealousy..tar ra jealousy
Happy doggy chocolate drops christmas to you! I'm a clever old thing don't you think? Lol

I bought mine one of those doggy stockings for a £5, keeps him happy. 40 quid is way over the top and a total waste of money.

Well, if it is HER money and you aren't married I can't see why you should have any say at all....unless you are feeling greedy and want 40 quid of presents for yourself.....
I am shocked you are jealous of presents a dog gets.....
I'm just sayin'.

hell no, the only thing a dog needs is a good bone for christmass, like a huge one, the ones that are like 3 feet long? i mean i would eat that, its so delicious (smelling).
but wtf, 40 quid? thats dumb dude, shes crazy. the dog has no idea what those things are, except maybe he/she will like the toy, and you wouldn't have to play with it as much, so there is a plus side, if its stuff like clothes, then im sorry.

Be glad you're not my boyfriend. I buy couture clothes for mine. Some outfits can fetch in the upper hundreds!!!! Everyday is Christmas for my dog!!!!
Let's see.....bikinis and sunglasses, black silk gown with a three layer tulle skirt, a handmade pink, sequined ballerina dress, designer t-shirts, coats and just about everything. She has her own closet!!!!
But.....she's fifteen years old and is used to it!!!

I would say yes but an awful lot of people would say no and side with your girlfriend.
There's a huge, huge trade in products for animal these days.
If it makes her happy and she has the money to spend then just let her get on with it (But make it known that she should be spending more on you than on the dog lol!)
