Yes, it is right up there with smoking and lack of exercise. Aging is part of life; the body tends to downshift as the decades gather. But chronic stress may speed up the process — and stress management might slow it down.

Yes, stress and tensions increase your blood pressure and thereby stresses your heart. They also affect your emotional and mental capacities. The moment both of these aspects of your life are affected, aging and deterioration of the body sets in. So you will notice that some people are still in heir 30's yet they look like they are in their 60's. Relax and just have fun.

Stress can cause lack of sleep, making you look tired. Stress and tension also causes wrinkles, paleness, circles under the eyes, headaches, etc. You may also loose or gain weight from stress.

Just make them look a few years older maybe, the tiredness will show on their faces, they either gain or lose weight depending on how they deal with stress, some eat alot and some don't, all in all they just tend to not look as healthy as they normally would if they weren't under pressure and stressed.

I believe that stress and tension play a major role on any ones outlook, because when you have a lot of stress, your face is the one who is going to show it, and the tension comes along with the stress and some People show it more than others. I was under a lot of stress for about three years back, and some of my Friends that had not seen me for some time told me they were shocked by my appearance, so, now I try to take it easy on myself and if the Family has a lot of worries, I just pray to the Lord up above to help me with the problems at hand, and that to me is a soothing hand that has helped me with most of the tension I had accumulated.

Yes!
Lined foreheads, permanent frowns even when you mean to be pleasant, dark circles under your eyes, anxiety which shows in your eyes, sad looks are just some of the ways.
There are a myriad of ways that stress and tension can affect us in every way and even though we think we are hiding them, our faces tell the truth.
In short, we don't look well, and others can tell we have problems.
