Nice to see the rightwing isn't going to stoop to fearmongering rants to try to make their political points.
Besides, pedophiles already HAVE the right to vote and, in fact, have been given tons of cushy Republican jobs in government over the last 7 years. I guess it at least keeps them from molesting kids while they're at work (well, excpet for Mark Foley of course- is this considered Republican multi-tasking?)

Yes and they should have the right to vote. When you leave prison you have paid your debt to society and should be treated as a normal citizen. To restrict them of the right to vote makes them nothing less than second class citizens and in a democratic society you have no right to force laws upon people with out giving them a voice in regards to the laws via vote.
Prison is not meant to punish it is meant to reform. Justice must be blind or it becomes the spirit of vengeance.

Its a stretch to think they would push for felons rights to vote but I do believe they would like to give illegal aliens and non US citizens the right to vote.
