haha thats so freakin funny, last night i was in dunkin donuts and there was 2 cops there. I asked them, "dont you want to avoid that stereo type?" and they laughed and one said thats why i got the bagel. i thought that was so hilarious. but c'mon who doesnt like a ball of sweet dough fried in oil and has the perfect holder for you in the middle. donuts are great!!

It's a quick food source. Finger foods as it were. My husband, who is now retired after 20 years, needed to catch a bite to eat quickly. Donuts was the fastest thing to grab. Many times they would end up in the trash because something would come up and he had to run.

Cops like Dougnuts for break-time. Not only do they eat Dougnuts they accompany it with coffee Why? Because for some people coffee is the solution to there problems or there stress!

I dated 2 cops (before I was married) and they did not eat donuts.
They were "Cappuccino and Croissants" cops is what they call it now.
Donuts were the past when there was not much crime and the cops gathered around to talk. Crime is high today and they dont have time to sit around and eat them.

Not all people like donuts, so, not all cops like them. Thats just a silly joke. I think it started because lots of places give cops free donuts. Just a thought.

well that is a steotype because when cops are on there shift they have little tiome to grab food and go... but donuts with coffee are fast to get and yummy to eat. But i know a lot of cops that dont eat donuts

Actually, more and more of us are thinking of our long-term health and switching to snacks consisting of healthy stuff,for example, fresh fruit like apples, and leaving the donuts for special occasions...
