get a clue...Eisenhower a Republican put the first US personnel in South Vietnam in 1954 to train and and support them,the build up escalated threw out his term Kennedy had signed the order for withdrawl but we all know what happened to him,it turne into a war for us in 1964 after the Vietnamese torpedo boat fired on one of our ships...you dumb asses cant rewrite history....

Yes I protested, yes I served during Viet Nam conflict, no I am not the least bit red faced or embarrassed. And you served when. More liberals came out of Viet Nam than you could imagine. And yes the first troops were sent in to Nam by Ike.

Possibly. Ike got us militarily involved in Vietnam. G H W Bush got us militarily involved in The Balkan Conflict and Somalia,in case you want to mention them too.

That could include Vietnam and the war in Iraq. It would not include the Persian Gulf War and invasion of Afghanistan.
