Unemployment doesn't come out of your pocket. The jobs the prisoner has worked for in the past have already paid that money in (as well as the prisoner while working there) and that money can not be recovered by the corporation, you, me or anyone else expect the person it is attached to.
And lots of people DON'T have to claim their unemployment... so most corporations have a pretty decent pool ...so again.. it's not coming out of any body's pocket.

Nope..I think our entire justice system needs to be reformatted..prison should be reserved for violent criminals..chimos, rapists, murderers, things of this nature..why the hell we have petty criminals sewrving hard time side by side with murdereers is beyond me, well actually i do know why..its big business..makes lots and lots of money...I th8ink the 3 strikes ur out is a retarded law...its like our politicians are getting thier education out of a cracker jack box!

No, If you're in prison, you put yourself there, I already paid my taxes for that. I won't pay unemployement taxes too. Plus, your unemployment compensation is based on quarters that you have worked and paid taxes, so how would you even expect that to work since the quarters needed for compensation were spent in prison?
