Well God Ask that we love everyone.. However as you know man has decided to pick and chose how The word is interpret.

I myself find Beauty in all and practice forgiving and loving.. and caring.. But I do not cast my pearls Before swine. The Bible tells you that too..

And it might verywell be that people have characterize races, and choice beliefes not there own.. as Swine.

this too is a pick and chose to interpret the word as there own..

But it will get worse before it gets better cause we are design to destroy ourselves...

It's actually very simple. If the religion preaches that homosexuality is a sin, then the more devout they are to the religion the more homphobic they are. It's that easy. the same goes for racism. If the religion preaches that one race is better than another, the followers will believe it.

Thus religiousness (is that a word) and racism/homophobia are mixed. Get it? The 3rd answerer got it right. I think you are confusing the meaning of "religious"... being religious doesn't mean loving everything and everyone no matter what.

Im all for people disagreeing with lifestyles and peoples views but I always love when they toss the word of the bible in it when they spew hate. People pick and choose what they want from the bible then go with it. Like i walked into a church wearing jeans and a tshirt and was pulled aside and told how i wasnt dressed right to be in the Lords house and next time i should have on a tie and button down shirt at least. Or how they claim tattooing is marking your body and its a sin but eating yourself to be obese and smoke and drink is ok. Figure that out. Or they claim their religion is the right one and everyone else is wrong.

Because nowhere in The Bible does it say to be tolerant of perversion and evil.

Why aren't homosexuals simply happy with having the freedom to do what they wish. Why do they feel the need to pervert religion into accepting homosexuality too? Why can't others live how they choose just like they do? Maybe they are evil after all?

Did you ever think maybe people just don't like you and it has nothing to do with your color?

You're the one randomly spouting racism and telling people what they should believe. You can do whatever the heck you want. Don't tell me I have to believe in it or be your enemy. I wouldn't ever demand that of you.

I'm cool with The United ***** College Fund not giving me a scholarship because I'm not a *****. Why should religion accept people who obviously aren't religious?

Most religions are based upon some type of "sacred text" that usually addresses these individual issues with do's and don'ts--don't make the mistake of thinking: religious=genuine good will towards others.

While I believe it's(the idea that homosexuality is bad) wrong, if someone's religion teaches them that homosexuality is wrong, how can you say they aren't being devout by condemning it? Just as if someone believes that stealing is wrong and will say so.....
