there is an interior light dimmer usually located at the bottom of the dash, usually to the left, but i guess it could vary. i've hit this with my knee, turning the lights down, and also my son was in the car and turned it down.
check it out.

I know this sounds really stupid, but is there a panel dimmer? My sister ran her car off the side of the road in the snow one time and the panel lights stopped working, she thought she broke something. It turns out that there was a switch (the round type like a radio dial on an alarm clock...) on the dash to the left of her steering wheel lower on the dash that wasn't obvious and when she moved it in the other direction the panel lights came back on.
If it's not a fuse, you might start looking for a dimmer switch?
Best wishes!

check the fuse box probably the fuse wire for the dash cut. check carefully coz u ve to know which fuse is for the dash. well if the cigarette lighter fuse blows out all the other ones, try removing that of the cigarette lighter temporarily

No instrument panel light fuse? Even if it looks good, pull it and swap with another of same amperage and recheck. Still no lights?
Dash lights are controlled thru the headlight switch. So the problem could be in the switch itself being worn out.

did you check the bulbs. If the cigarette lighter fuse blows better check it.dont use any higher amp fuse.It will be worse. If the fuses are OK definitely there must be a wire burnt or bulbs fused.

Check the dial (near your headlights switch, most times) to see if the intensity of the light is dimmed down. It happens every so often, especially whenever you allow someone else to drive your car.

Did you check the bulbs; maybe they are burned out? If not, then maybe a wire connection somewhere.
