The only actual hotel was the Holiday Inn Boardwalk. Though it was not a big property it was surrounded by other buildings plus a big open lot that was used as a helicopter tour pad. The properties behind was pretty much empty and that is where the majority of building is occurring. The frontage along the strip is minimal and that is where the Boardwalk, smaller souvenirs buildings and heliport was located.
