so there is this clergyman and is bothering me and my wife, she is a christian but not a very religious one and im not religious at all. now the clergyman is constantly coming to our house and telling us we need to convert and that we are going to hell and all that nonsense, i tried calling the police but they have no idea what to do since its a clergyman, what can i possibly do?

The police are idiots, they have every right to enforce laws regardless of a citizen's status. I'd call them again and tell them to do their job.

For starters, you can ask him how he thinks Jesus would have approached you. Seriously. There are not many instances in the Bible where Jesus ranted and raved at people. He established relationships with them, and then in the context of those relationships, he brought his message.

Clergyman or not, you have the right to insist that he not be on your property, and the police should assist you in enforcing that as a property owner.

Don't invite him in, sick the dog on him, or maybe you could be polite and ask him not to continue to bother you.
